/ What we do on commercial sites

Commercial gas work is a different qualification, a different set of standards and a different pace. Our engineers hold the commercial catering (COMCAT) and commercial pipework qualifications the Gas Safe Register requires for non-domestic work, and they're used to working around a live kitchen or a busy site.

For breakdowns we run a 24/7 line and prioritise sites where trading has stopped. For installations and fit-outs we design and install pipework sized for the full appliance load, test and purge it to IGEM standards, commission every appliance and hand over the certificates the inspector will ask for.

Everything is quoted in writing before work starts, and every job is recorded and certified on completion.

/ Questions we get asked

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, call — it's quicker than a form.

What's the difference between a domestic and a commercial gas engineer?

Commercial work — catering appliances, pipework over a certain size, plant rooms — needs additional Gas Safe qualifications such as COMCAT for catering and commercial pipework categories. Check the engineer's Gas Safe ID card shows the commercial categories.

Do you cover emergency breakdowns?

Yes, 24/7. Kitchens with no gas and plant rooms with no heat are prioritised.

Which areas do you cover?

Greater London and a wide radius across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire — see Areas we cover. For larger contracts we'll travel further.

Can you provide the certificates our insurer and EHO need?

Yes — commissioning records, tightness test certificates and the annual CP42 gas safety certificate.
